Often, yes. But listing photos rarely show labels, codes and stitching up close, so the verdict is more likely to be inconclusive. Ask the seller for the shots in the photo guide before you buy.

Email info@legitique.com as soon as possible. In most cases we can still assess the correct item or photos instead. Each order covers one item and one certificate, so a corrected submission replaces the original. Please contact us before relying on or sharing the result.

Every authentication ends with one of three verdicts: authentic, not authentic or inconclusive. If a verdict is inconclusive, we explain exactly why, usually missing information, unusual details or conflicting signals, so you can decide how to proceed.

No. Every authentication is performed by Boaz, a human luxury specialist. Digital tools may help organize reference material, but your verdict is always based on human judgement, never on an algorithm.

Within 24 hours in almost all cases. The 24 hours start once we have clear photos of your item, and that applies to every brand and item type. There is no paid rush tier, because every client gets the same fast turnaround. In the rare case we need more photos or a complex item takes longer, we’ll let you know straight away.

No. The price for your item type includes the full human review, the written verdict and the PDF certificate. Follow-up questions and clarifications are free.

Yes. You can add several items to one order and each item is priced individually. If you're a store or reseller and need ongoing volume checks, contact us about a tailored arrangement.

If you regularly sell high-value items and need ongoing authentication, contact us. We'll discuss your typical volume and set up a long-term arrangement without compromising the depth of each review.

You get a full refund for duplicate purchases of the same service for the same item, for technical or internal errors on our side (or a free re-review if you prefer), and when we can't reach a conclusive verdict, even after asking for more photos.

If you have clear evidence that contradicts the verdict, such as documentation, an expert opinion or a reliable independent source, we re-review your item for free and explain the outcome. If the re-review confirms an error, we correct the result and refund you in full. If we can't be fully confident in the original verdict, we also refund you in full.

We can't refund a result simply because it wasn't what you hoped for. An independent verdict is only worth something if it can't be changed to suit expectations.

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For our services that right ends once the authentication has been fully performed after you asked us to start. Contact us quickly if you change your mind.

Discounted bundles with multiple authentications are priced lower on purpose and are non-refundable. Single services are always covered by the full refund policy.

No. Legitique operates independently and is not affiliated with Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès or any other brand we authenticate. That independence is what makes the verdict objective.

We're EU-based, in the Netherlands, and authenticate items for buyers and sellers worldwide. Because everything is done online from your photos, your location doesn't matter.
