How I authenticate Loewe bags, shoes and clothing

I check every Loewe piece by hand, from photos you upload. The anagram, the heat stamp and the construction are reviewed together before I give a verdict. Here's what I look at first.

    Heat stamp and labels

    Loewe bags carry a heat stamp with the brand name and origin, and clothing has woven labels. I check the font, spacing and stamping depth, and that the labels fit the item and season.

  2. Step 2

    Anagram details

    The Loewe anagram appears embossed, debossed or as hardware. I check its proportions and symmetry: replicas often get the shape of the four Ls slightly wrong or press it too shallow.

  3. Step 3

    Construction and shape

    Models like the Puzzle and Flamenco have complex panel construction. I check that panels line up, edges are cleanly painted and the bag holds the correct shape.

  4. Step 4

    Hardware and stitching

    Zippers, rings and clasps should be solid and cleanly finished. I check stitch spacing, thread colour and the finish where handles and straps attach.

Usually 8–12 photos taken with your phone in daylight: the full item front and back, the inside or labels, the brand stamp, any serial or date code, and close-ups of hardware and stitching.

If it's not authentic, you get a written verdict with the specific reasons, which many clients use as evidence with the seller, the marketplace or PayPal. Each platform makes its own decision, so we can't promise an outcome.

If the result is inconclusive, Boaz first asks for more photos. If it stays inconclusive, he explains why and refunds your order in full.
